The fourth quarter of 2021 saw intriguing performance trends for the top five top-down game applications in Kenya, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s an overview of how these games fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Ludo STAR from Gameberry Labs experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.3K in early November and ending the year at approximately $1.1K. Weekly downloads saw a high of 2.2K in early October, with a notable increase to 2K by the end of December. Active users remained relatively stable, finishing the year at 8.9K.

Candy Crush Soda Saga by King showed a significant rise in weekly revenue, culminating at $1.2K in the final week of December. Downloads also increased steadily from 1.8K in late September to 2.5K by the end of the year. The game maintained a robust active user base, peaking at 37.2K mid-December.

8 Ball Pool™ from Miniclip.com had a mixed quarter. Revenue increased to $766 in early November, while downloads fluctuated, peaking at 6.1K in late September and ending the quarter at 5.5K. Active users saw a steady rise, reaching 58.1K by the end of December.

Zynga Poker ™ - Texas Hold'em from Zynga Inc. showed a peak in revenue at $916 in early December. Downloads remained minimal but saw a slight uptick in the last week of December. Active user numbers fluctuated, ending the quarter at 553.

Match Masters ‎- PvP Match 3 by Candivore LTD had a varied performance, with revenue peaking at $602 in late December. Downloads spiked to 420 in mid-October but were otherwise low. Active users saw a significant peak in mid-October at 6.1K, ending the year at 3.5K.
